I first reached out to Joe at the end of March 2022. I lacked energy, confidence and mentally and physically I felt weak. 


The reason behind me choosing Joe was that upon reading his mini biography, he seemed to have been in the same place as me, mentally and physically previously. Before my first training session with Joe, he was in regular contact, finding more out about me as a person, and how I ticked; which really helped reduce my anxiety of walking into a commercial gym for the first time. 


Sessions with Joe are fun and progressive. I’m trying exercises that I never thought I was capable of; and now also have the confidence to attend spin classes regularly, which I would never would have considered doing before. Joe and I set regular goals for me to achieve, and as my fitness and confidence improves, I’m finding myself taking on more challenging tasks. 


Joe is knowledgeable and is keen to share his expertise with me. I’ve learnt a lot about how my body responds to exercise, the best foods for me to eat, as well as mental health. I’m genuinely so pleased our pathways have crossed, as I don’t believe I could have done this without him. 


I personally cannot believe the journey I have been on over the last 6 months. I am the strongest and fittest I have ever been, and mentally I’m feeling secure and confident. I still have my bad days, but the friendship I have made with Joe along the way, he’s always there to pick me up. This journey has been much more than fitness journey, but one of finding myself and putting me first.
